The complex comprises Ohangaron HPP (21 MW), Ohangaron small HPP (2.5 MW) and Ertoshsoy HPP (2.03 MW).
Work continues under Presidential Resolution PQ-163 of 1 May 2026 to develop hydropower and increase the share of green energy.
The total installed capacity of Ohangaron HPP now stands at 25.53 MW, made up of:
- Ohangaron HPP — 21 MW;
- Ohangaron small HPP — 2.5 MW;
- Ertoshsoy HPP — 2.03 MW.
With its high natural head and steady flow, the Ohangaron river is key to using the region's hydropower potential.
